    Is the newer figure more or less posable than the originaal? I personally don't consider it an "ACTION-figure" if stuck in the same pose. Where's the "action" if he's not able to make that hammer-swing?

    That is one of the major debates that goes on with TMP products - usually around the time each line is released.

    I think the action-figure monniker is something that has turned into a general term (like people calling any vaccuum a "hoover") that doesn't really apply anymore to most product that is being released from TMP, and a slew of other companies.

    I mean, just to name a few - King of the Hill, Clerks, Muppets, etc. About the only company that continually keeps the level of articulation up to a point that you consider it a traditional action figure is Toy Biz.

    I think Baimun summed TMP lines up pretty well a few years ago as they are more "affordable artwork" that might have articulation, but look kick ass either way!
